Plakias, Rethymno
Plakias is a splendid resort that is found between two gorges of Koyrtalioti and Kotsifou. The beautiful natural landscape which offers relaxation to the visitor in the beautiful beaches and entertainment in the bars and in coastal cafeterias.

By Air
Plakias is situated 120 km from Heraklion International Airport and 100 km from Chania International Airport. From there you can take taxi or bus, or you can rent a car.
By Car
Starting from Chania or Irakleion by car through the National road you take the route to Rethymnon. In Rethymnon you take the exit to “Spili” following the suburban road for 17km.You then turn right at the crossroads toward Plakias and Prevelli and follow the signs to “Plakias / Preveli”.
By Boat
From Piraeus Port you can take boat to either Heraklion Port (7 hours trip the fasest) or Chania Port (9 hours trip). Heraklion Port is 112 km from Plakia and Chania Port is 83 km from Plakia. From there you can take taxi or bus, or you can rent a car.
